Each project begins with a free consultation where we get to know our clients specific needs and their site.  From there we can better understand the project scope and timeline. Next there is a comprehensive questionnaire, which will allow us to start putting the design on paper. We create a preliminary plan based on your space, budget, and you goals. Because the project estimate is based on your feedback and a detailed questionnaire, this process usually only takes about a week. This first phase is usually the easiest. 
 

Design: Projects range in size and budget. Starting each project with a custom design is paramount to meeting client needs. Whether a project is new construction or a remodel there are several phases of the design process. The most typical fee for a residential is $1500-2500. Depending on the complexity of the design we will either prepare several concepts for the client’s review before we prepare the final drawing.  

At the end of this stage our client will have a scaled hand watercolor concept drawing to accompany a detailed planting plan and palette. This entire process can take between two to four weeks. If there is way to make a dream become reality, we will find it. Sometimes it is advantageous to do a project in phases to help reduce financial outlay of large projects; this can be several season or several years. We find solutions that work for you.
